The Ayrshire Hospice has been delivering specialist palliative
care to the Ayrshire community for almost 30 years. As an independent
charity, we are proud of our unique and loyal team of 800 employed and
voluntary staff dedicated to delivering exceptional care that is
regularly recognised as “excellent” by our regulators Healthcare
Improvement Scotland.
We are looking for a Patient Services Director who will share our vision to reach and improve the lives of everyone in Ayrshire affected by life-limiting illness.
Working as part of our Senior Management Team, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing holistic care services to our patients, families and carers.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership qualities with a proven track record of operating at a strategic and senior management level within a healthcare setting that provides specialist palliative care.
Being clinically qualified, education to post graduate level with an understanding of the wider health and social care system, you will have experience of organisational development, sound financial management and workforce planning, a strong understanding of governance, compliance and legal issues. You will also have the ambition and drive to continue to develop our services making today matter for those we support.
