About the role
We are looking for someone to manage the operational delivery of our education quality assurance framework. As Education Quality Assurance Manager, you will manage a small team working to ensure that providers of professional education, training and development for nurses, midwives and future regulated roles meet our required standards.
You will be responsible for developing annual implementation plans for our education quality assurance activity and monitor the effectiveness of our methods. You will be responsible for ensuring that our approach to quality assurance is evidence based and uses relevant data and intelligence to inform our approach.
The successful candidate will also manage and quality assure our system for AEIs (Approved Education Institutions) and practice placement partners to exception report risks to programme delivery, ensuring  the development and implementation of proportionate risk triage and action plans.
Skills and experience required
We are looking for a candidate with experience of working on quality assurance initiatives and experience and understanding of the education and healthcare sectors. You will also have experience of managing people, have good interpersonal skills and be able to provide support and guidance to others. You will be very organised and able to plan and deliver work.
You will have excellent analytical skills and experience of writing reports and briefings. You will also have experience of engaging with stakeholders.

  • Own and deliver the customer led sell, buy and move plan for my region feeding into the Local Sell/Buy Plan
  • Using my region sell plan feed into the Category PGR and Category Sell plans.

  • Support range strategy to implement a customer focused range which delivers financial KPI's. Source innovative product to deliver insight led ranges across channels, regions & affluence levels to support the category strategy. Continually improving range development through store/website visits and competitor/category research. Deliver trade promotions and events that exceed KPI forecasts and drive footfall
  • Delivering Local sales and quantum profit budget. Negotiate with supplier partners to deliver market leading product costs and investment in-line with Tesco Buying model (back to front).
  • Supporting the Supply Chain Plan to help get our products in store on time and to maintain customer availability.
  • Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and hand over protocols and successfully completing all my training so that I have zero GSCOP breaches.Ensuring all agreements are recorded in writing, reporting GSCOP complaints to Legal within 48 hours of receipt

The ideal post holder will have:
  • substantial administrative experience and the management experience to develop and motivate their team of six to deliver excellent services to time, quality and budget
  • extensive experience in the use and manipulation of data on large scale databases
  • excellent customer skills with the ability to communicate and engage with a wide range of people with tact and diplomacy
  • excellent written English and the capacity to problem-solve using their own judgement to resolve issues
  • demonstrable personal initiative and the ability to manage both members and a complex workload of competing priorities
  • previous experience of working in a similar member based organisation would be helpful, although not essential.
