- Manage and coordinate security operations during Singtel events
- Conduct annual 2-day security exercise at Singtel Comcentre
- To mange the execution and deliverables for the upcoming Security Guarding Contract
- Update risk assessment for all guarded sites
- To maintain currency for incident escalation and management of SOPs’ currency
- To maintain currency for site specific guarding SOPs’ currency
- Perform supervisory checks at all guarded sites
- Conduct ‘Red Teaming’ exercises with security service providers to ensure security officers’ vigilance
- Conduct periodic Tactical Exercise without Troops (TEWT) for all guarded sites
- Conduct After Action Reviews (AAR) after red teaming exercises for learning purposes
- Create on-the-job (OJT) training packages for security service vendors to adhere to, and competency checklists for security guarding tasks – to create one unified standard across all Singtel guarded sites
- Ensure security service vendors exclusively deploy guards that have been approved for deployment and completed OJT training
- Ensure security service vendors’ deployment of officers do not breach Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations on work hours and overtime work requirements
- Investigate security officer lapses and engage security service vendors to rectify matters and ensure service quality levels.
- Issue and monitor liquidated damages to security service vendors for lapses as stated in contract specification.
- Ensure proper turnout and bearing of all security officers at all Singtel guarded sites
- Report to management on security guarding status on a regular basis, such as officers’ deployment and banned list, lapses, commendations etc.
- To engage security service providers and provide solutions to improve deployment of technology to reduce the number of security officers deployed
- To respond to any security incidents occurring on Singtel property
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in any field and professional certification in security administration or similar
- Have 5 years of proven experience as security manager or similar position
- Have experience in a leadership/manager position
- Have experience in reporting and emergency response planning
- Have excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Have solid understanding and ability to create statistical data presentations
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be willing to travel around Singapore to manage security operations
- Be committed and reliable
- Be able to perceive changing needs and environment with astuteness and rapidly formulate and implement appropriate and effective counter measures.
- Have good interpersonal and negotiation skills as job requires extensive cross functional/divisional dealings
